AMVETS awards scholarships of up to $12,000 to eligible Veterans or active-duty members of the U.S. military, including National Guard and Reserve personnel, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree. Graduate-level study is not eligible (NO POST GRADS).

The American Respiratory Care Foundation offers a memorial award of up to $1,000 in honor of Jimmy A. Young, a former AARC president who made significant contributions to respiratory care education.
