The Bria T. Chism Foundation created a scholarship fund through the POISE Foundation in June 2021. The scholarship’s purpose is to offer financial support to nursing students who are pursuing interests in oncology or hematologic (blood-related) conditions.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (school, college, or university) located within a 50-mile radius of Kansas City, Missouri.
- Maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Students from minority backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
