Intro
The National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) is offering scholarships for nursing students at every training level—from LPN through doctoral programs. All applications and supporting materials must be submitted electronically and will be accepted exclusively through the Community Force platform.
Eligibility
Open to nursing students at all educational stages (LPN to Doctorate).
How to apply
Submit your complete application and all supporting documents only via Community Force. Paper, email, or other submission methods will not be accepted.
Required application materials
- Two letters of recommendation:
- One letter must come from an NBNA member or leader (current or former) who can confirm the details in your application and speak to your suitability for the scholarship.
- The second letter may be provided by a dean or faculty member.
- Current resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
- Personal career statement — maximum two pages
- High-resolution current photograph
- Signed NBNA Pledge
Conference attendance
Recipients are strongly encouraged to attend the NBNA national conference to accept awards in person. Please note: NBNA does not provide travel funding.
