Wings Over America Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Wings Over America Scholarship Fund
Introduction
Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation awards at least 50 scholarships each year to support postsecondary education for dependents connected to the U.S. Navy aviation community. Each award is $5,000; a portion of these grants may be renewable.
Permitted uses of the scholarship
Awards may be applied only to tuition and required fees at an accredited institution. Eligible educational pathways include trade-school certification programs, community college, or undergraduate study at a four-year college or university.
Selection process
Recipients are chosen based on academic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular participation, and personal character. To ensure impartiality, applicants’ identifying information is removed before selection (blind review).
Restrictions and ineligibility
- Applicants whose tuition and mandatory fees are already fully covered by other institutional scholarships, ROTC funding, or Post-9/11 GI Bill/Yellow Ribbon benefits are not eligible.
- Students enrolled at U.S. service academies are also ineligible.
Please read all application instructions carefully before beginning the process.
