Smart Choices Scholarship Program
Scholarship Sponsored by Washington Interscholastic Activities Association
The WIAA, in collaboration with Gesa Credit Union and the Dairy Farmers of Washington, administers the Smart Choices Scholarship Program. Each year the program recognizes graduating seniors from WIAA member high schools for sustained excellence in athletics/activities, academics, leadership, and community service throughout their high school careers. The application opens annually in the fall.
2025–2026 AWARDS
- For the 2025–2026 cycle, the Smart Choices Scholarship Program will grant two scholarships of $5,000 and eight scholarships of $1,000 to qualifying graduating seniors.
2026 SMART CHOICES SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
- The 2026 program, presented by Gesa Credit Union and the Dairy Farmers of Washington, will award three $5,000 scholarships and twelve $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from WIAA member high schools who demonstrate excellence in athletics/activities, academics, leadership, and community service.
Application deadline
- All 2026 Smart Choices Scholarship applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
