Alberta C. Kaufman Scholarship

Introduction
Attorney Marshall Kaufman of Kaufman & Stigger, PLLC (Kentucky) has established a scholarship in memory of his mother, Alberta C. Kaufman. Alberta encouraged her son to continue his education and ultimately attend law school. In her honor, the firm is offering The Alberta C. Kaufman Scholarship to support students pursuing higher education.
Who is eligible
- Resident of Kentucky or Indiana.
- Either a high school senior completing graduation or a currently enrolled student at a 2‑ or 4‑year college or university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- High school seniors must plan to continue to post‑secondary study following graduation.
- Applicants must complete the application form’s brief personal introduction describing themselves.
- Applicants must submit an essay via the form about a person who has positively influenced their life and explain how that influence will affect their future.
Award details
Two recipients will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Awards are one‑time, nonrenewable, and will be paid directly to the college or university admissions office.
Submission deadline
Applications must be submitted by May 10, 2026.
