Overview
Offered yearly, the Legacy Scholarship for Undergraduate Students honors academic excellence and creative achievement. The award supports undergraduate interior design students and is funded through the generous support of the Dora Brahms Fund, Mabelle Wilhelmina Boldt Fund, Yale R. Burge Fund, Raymond Kennedy Fund, Ethel Siegelman Fund, and Alan Lucas Fund.
Eligibility
Applicants must be undergraduate juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited interior design program of at least three years’ duration.
Required Application Materials
- Design portfolio (8–12 pages) showcasing projects that illustrate design approaches promoting occupant well‑being.
- Portfolio statement (maximum 500 words)
- Personal statement
- Academic transcript (an unofficial copy or other proof of current enrollment is acceptable)
- Letter of recommendation
- Biographical statement
- Recent headshot
